World-known as a unique narrow gauge train, its 1922 locomotives continue –as on their first day– travelling across the Patagonian striking landscape and enormous distances, so you can enjoy this unforgettable experience.
The history of the Old Patagonian Express, fondly nicknamed “La Trochita” because of the narrow separation of only 0,75 m between its rails, floats inside its small, antique wooden coaches. Stories about the white, harsh winters, when the local people depended on the train as their only means of transport, linger on each of their seats.
